Garmin Base Camp™ Tutorials

BaseCamp™ from Garmin has a reputation for being difficult to use. There’s no doubt is has a steep learning curve and does not operate the way other programs work. BaseCamp does have some big advantages. The biggest advantage is that you don’t have to be connected to the internet to use it. Secondly, you can view multiple routes on the screen at one time. Finally, it integrates seamlessly with a Garmin GPS.

  • Awesome video on Base Camp, thank you so much!!! I learned so much!!! – John S.
  • This is awesome. Basecamp is not user friendly and has a steep learning curve. Your explanation really helped me a lot. Thank you so much. – Ivo D.

Harley Ride Planner

The Harley Ride Planner is a simple route planning website. Saved routes can be transferred to a 2014-2018 Infotainment System using a thumb drive. For 2019+ bikes with the Infotainment System the routes can be transferred to the by using the Harley smartphone app.

  • Thanks again for another great informational video. I have used the ride planner on 2015 ultra limited and had many problems with the route always telling me to do a u-turn and didn’t know why so I got frustrated and stopped using it. I will try to skip the way point to see if this works correctly. – Jessman.
  • Just discovered your videos. Very well done, Thank you! – Ed H.
