We had an easy start to our morning. I had breakfast buffet at the gas station.

The group rode into big Bend National Park and headed for Santa Elena Canyon. The Rio Grande has cut this sharp, narrow canyon. It’s quite a site to see.

From the canyon we stopped to take pictures of the “Mule’s Ears” formation.

We crossed into Mexico at Boquillas del Carmen and rode the donkeys into town. On the way back my donkey refused to walk until one of the guys “convinced” him to go.

We spent the evening at the Starlight Restaurant at the end of Terlingua ghost Town Road.

Of course I had to take a picture of the mayor.
