We did a lot of long distance riding in 2019 and put a lot of miles on the bikes. We saw a lot of the southern half of the country. Tim rode 22,687 miles and Beth rode 13,297 miles.

Erueka Springs, AR and Jefferson, TX

For our Spring trip we rode together to Eureka Springs, AR. This was Beth’s first trip to this part of Arkansas. She enjoyed riding the curvy roads. From Eureak Springs we rode south to Jefferson, TX to join other Road Glide riders and explore some sights in East Texas.

79th Annual Motor Maids Convention

The ride to the Motor Maids convention in Temecula, CA was a major undertaking. The convention is always in July, so we prepared for some very hot weather. Our hydration cooling vests made it possible for us to cross the southwest where the temperatures rose above 100F.

Road Glide National Rally

Beth chose not to go to Shark Week IX in Deadwood, SD, because the 2021 convention was slated for Rapid City, SD. She didn’t want to do the same trip two years in a row. Tim had no problem riding on his own and sharing a room in Deadwood with a friend.
