In my last post I described the mini-reunion with fellow shipmates from USS Saratoga. I left Richmond, VA and went to Williamsburg, VA to spend some time with my son, Ross, at my mother-in-law’s home. We had a nice, quiet family visit. Ross cooked dinner one evening and we went out to a Mexican restaurant for dinner the next evening.

On a Sunday I left Williamsburg early and rode the entire 831 miles home in one day. My intention was to ride until I felt tired and stop, but I felt fine and just kept going.

Next Trip

Our next trip begins in a few day. Beth and I are heading to the 2017 Motor Maids convention in East Peoria, IL. Follow us a we make our way north following the super slab much of the way.
