The business meeting is held Thursday morning of convention. Committees make reports and any items that need membership approval are voted on. The most important item that comes up for a vote is the location of the convention two years after the current one. Districts that are interested in hosting the convention present their plans, and the members vote to make the selection. Santa Fe, NM was chosen at this year’s convention as the site for the 2016 convention.

Something very unusual happened this afternoon. One of the Motor Maids from Kentucky got married in the hotel lobby with many other Motor Maids and guests watching.

The final event of the convention is the awards dinner on Thursday evening. Long-time members, those who rode many miles getting to convention or in the previous year and the winners of the Dot Robinson Road Run are recognized.
