With convention over Friday morning, we took our time touring between Kerrville and Fulshear, TX. We spent some time taking a look at the old town of Lukenbach, TX. There was almost no one there but a sleeping cat.

We stayed overnight with a shipmate, Ken, and his wife, Debbie. I hadn’t seen Ken in over 40 years. We spent a lot of time catching up. They took us to dinner and were very gracious hosts. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed since we were together in the South China Sea on the USS Saratoga.
