We left Newnan, GA early and had breakfast at a Waffle House with our friend, Darrell. He rode with us for the first 125 miles through rural Georgia. We rode on non-interstate roads all day ( until the last few miles.)

We stopped for lunch in Monticello, FL, the county seat of Jefferson County.

We continued down US-19 after lunch. Usually it rains on us on 19. Today was the first time in a long time that we missed the rain. The down-side was it was HOT.

We got home about 6:30 pm. We were away 18 days. We rode the bikes on 17 of those days and covered 6,103 miles. We’ll wash the bikes tomorrow…
