Today was the first day of our return trip to St. Petersburg. However, before leaving Charlottetown, we stopped at the Harley dealer to put a new front tire on Beth’s bike. They also checked her battery (it’s ok) and added some air to our tires.

We spent all day just beating down the pavement, since we had to cover about 500 miles. We had a couple hours of cold rain mid-day. The border crossing was uneventful. We had dinner at the most exotic of all restaurants (not) – Burger King!!

This evening we are staying at the home of a Buddhist nun and having a delightful conversation. Tomorrow we head to eastern Pennsylvania and dinner with our sons and their girlfriends.
