The day began with breakfast in the atrium. The buffet was pretty good and the instant-brew coffee was not great.

The air conditioning isn’t fully working, but the hotel management says the motor needed for repair has arrived from Illinois and will be installed today. They bought several large fans from Home Depot and placed them around the meeting rooms.

Beth attended the opening meeting while I worked on some computer projects.

After lunch we took a break until it was time to go to the baseball stadium for the group picture and the start of the parade.

For dinner we explored, “The Alley” and found a Japanese restaurant where we had sushi and soup. The high for the day was 94 deg. and the humidity was quite high. That weather wears you out more quickly, so we turned in early to recharge for tomorrow and the 6 a.m. registration for the Dot Robinson Road Rally.
