The morning of the third day of the convention was the business meeting. There were a few bylaw changes, presentations by four districts for the 2020 and 2021 conventions, and an election of the sites for those conventions. Rapid City, SD will be the site for 2020 and Springfield, MA for 2121.

Following the meeting, Beth and I went to lunch at a pizza restaurant.

After lunch we went to the nearby River Walk and strolled through the park.

The final event of the convention was the awards banquet. The President listed the statistics – there were 421 Motor Maids and 117 guests in attendance. Red Ribbon — first time at convention — attendees numbered 88.  We rode 310,627 direct miles to convention and 433,992 touring miles. Over the course of the past year, Motor Maids reported riding well over 3 million combined miles. Motor Maids DO ride!
