Today we set out for Temecula, CA, and the 2019 Motor Maids Convention. The convention is always in July, and we always expect hot weather. This year will be no exception as we have to cross the desert Southwest to get to southern California.

We are going to visit friends and family along the way, which makes the trip all the more worthwhile. We’ll stop in Silver City, NM, Scottsdale and Sun City West, AZ, and Fulshear, TX.

This afternoon we left about 4 p.m. and headed north to Live Oak, FL. We did the whole 200-mile leg stopping only for stoplights. We weren’t tired nor hungry, so we decided to just keep riding until we reached our destination. We filled the bikes with gas, had dinner, and checked into our hotel.
