Return to Home and Staying “Home”
Yesterday morning Beth was up early and headed East on the first leg of her journey home. She had a 1300 mile route in her GPS and decided she would stop when she felt like it. She sent me texts along the way to let me know where she was.
She was on a roll in the afternoon and decided to stop in Hamilton, Al. That was about 625 miles for the day. She took a dip in the pool, had dinner, and called me. The Dyna Switchback and Air Hawk seat pad are a comfortable combination.
Meanwhile, I’m staying in my “home” in Oklahoma City. I have a company laptop and am working remotely. I’ll be here until my Road Glide friends arrive late next week. My friend, Chris, will lead us on a “Gypsy Tour” along Rte. 66 from here to Flagstaff. From there we’ll go up to St. George, UT for a 3-day Road Glide Rally, named Shark Week III.
