This is the video about the parts in the kit and the parts you need to buy before installing the reverse gear.

The heart of the reverse gear is the engagement mechanism with the movable pinion gear.

These two gears are mounted on the ends of the transmission shafts.

The pinion gear engages these two gears when the transmission is in neutral causing the output shaft to rotate in reverse.

Because the engagement mechanism is sandwiched between the transmission and the transmission cover, a longer clutch push rod is required.

A few tools are included. There is an ear plug to plug the end of the output shaft while drilling the shaft for the locking pins. A milling drill bit is used to drill the shaft. The hex tool is a guide for the drill bit. The large, circular tool is used when torquing the larger gear.

There are a variety of fasteners included.

Bikes equipped with hydraulic clutch actuators must use the hydraulic clutch cylinder housing.

The piston from the stock actuator is removed and inserted in the housing.
