The Eurowing USA MMD series of reverse gears for Harley-Davison motorcycles have been on the market since 2004. There are models that fit either the 5-speed or the 6-speed transmissions with just a few exceptions. An optional adapter is available for transmissions with a hydraulically actuated clutch.

A few years ago we had an independent shop install the MMD on my wife’s 2015 Ultra Limited Low. This video describes how the mechanism works.

Recently I purchased the kit for my 2016 Road Glide Ultra and installed it myself. I watched the installation on my wife’s bike. That experience made the installation easier as I knew what to expect. Also the installation instructions are pretty clear and EurowingUSA assured me their techs were available to answer questions.
