Except for not being on my motorcycle, it was a typical morning at a motel. This Quality Inn in southern Tennessee is being renovated and I stayed in one of the completed rooms. The hot breakfast was excellent.

I packed and continued my journey north. The temperature was not so hot as it was the day before, and the scenery was much more enjoyable going through the mountains.

Meanwhile… at the Motor Maids convention, Beth was reconnecting with friends and attending the welcome meeting. Among the notable statistics reported at the meeting was that there were 449 Motor Maids in attendance, which is the all-time high. The previous record was 444 at Moncton, NB, in 2015.

I stopped along the way to see friends, who we were going to visit if I had completed my trike project in time. I arrived at the hotel in Dublin around 5 p.m. and settled my stuff in our room.

Beth and I went to dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant and made an early night of it.
