We spent four days visiting friends in Placitas, NM. They have a lovely, spacious home.

All the homes in Placitas have natural, adobe architecture. Here are some examples.

Sunday, Beth went with Jeanie to church at St Michael’s and sang in the choir. On Monday, we all rode the train to Santa Fe. The senior day pass fare was just $6, and veterans (Tim) rode for free. it was a bargain!

We had lunch near the train station.

We walked to the square and back.

Around the square were lots of cutesy shops and galleries.

We checked out some native pottery in one of the shops and marveled at the intricate designs…all meticulously hand painted.

Other than the one outing, we rested, visited, and enjoyed the view.
