Taking a Day Off
The weather this morning was so much nicer than it was last evening.

The campground-provided breakfast was excellent. At breakfast we decided to stay another day and enjoy the amenities and loaf.
We met another Motor Maid, Helene- from New Jersey, for lunch at a Barbecue restaurant a few blocks away,

The food was excellent and the company greater. Helene is riding solo on an old Harley FLH to the Motor Maids convention.
Next, we rode to Walmart for wine and beer and a couple of incidental groceries.

As you can tell, I didn’t go overboard with picture-taking today.
We did a few things that the camera slept through. We showered off the sweat from our ride and went in the pool. Beth read Facebook articles, and I caught up with a few of my favorite YouTube channels.
Beth fixed spaghetti and bag-o-salad. (I was in charge of watching the spaghetti boil.) After dinner we went for a soak in the hot tub. Now we are having our nightly decaffeinated tea with honey while I write this post. It looks like it’s going to be another comfortable night.
Statistics:
Miles – A few, Time – Beyond measure.
Tim, I was checking out your trip map and I see you started in Tampa? We lived there for 5 years back in the 1980’s…we lived at 2305 Lila Lane, right off Westshore Blvd. in south Tampa. Small world.
Will you be riding Lolo (Hwy. 12) out of Missoula? It would be a shame to miss that!
Our ride in September will take us from Missoula to Elk City, ID via Hwy. 12. The ride to Elk City is an out-and-back, but if you have the time, well worth it.
Enjoying your ride, thanks!
We live in St. Petersburg. We rode Lolo in ’21, so we’ ll be going a different route. Thanks for following along.
