Going On To See Friends
The convention is over, so it was time to say goodbye to friends and depart this morning.
I planned an easy day – 300 miles of Interstate. The weather was beautiful, and the temperature (upper 70s) was ideal. It was such a perfect morning that I forgot to take pictures at our morning stop.
We had lunch on a picnic table at the Harley dealer in Missoula. I contacted the dealer in Mississippi to see if he wanted me to get the oil changed on the loner bike, but he said there was no need. (The trike has 4700 miles on it.)

We took an early afternoon break at a gas station that had a few tables.

While we were there, a man approached us with a set of keys he had found on the parking lot. They were my trailer keys, which had separated from the carabiner I use. Whew! That was a close one. I gave him one of my stickers. If he’s reading this – Thank You!

There was a neat old sign at the motel next door.

I believe the cloud on the right contains the words, “AAA Rates.”
Our campground is in Fairmont, MT. We got a beautiful site under a big old tree. There are great views of the surrounding mountains.

Next door to the RV park is the Fairmont Resort. It has two indoor and two outdoor hot springs pools. We spent a couple of hours after dinner soaking in the water. We alternated between the hot pool and the tepid pool until our fingers got pruny.

There was also a water slide, which we decided not to go on. The teenage boys, however, were having a blast!
It’s going to be another chilly night. We are wearing our hooded jackets as I’m writing this.
The water in my pool is 88! Florida misses you in all our steamy glory!
We are enjoying the cool nights and hot, dry days. Not looking forward to the humidity.
Super day! Glad that your trailer keys were returned.. otherwise where would you be sleeping? 😁😁. Yes the weather was cold this am in the Glacier Park!!
Be well you two and keep the shiney side up!
Thank you, Helene.
So happy you are doing exactly as i directed. You will have wonderful memories.
Yes, we are having great times traveling and catching up with long-time friends.
