We spent the morning enjoying the spacious room at the hotel. I got caught up on some computer stuff while Beth did laundry.

It was only a 45 mile ride from Sparks down to the Carson Valley Inn in Gardnerville. The Inn is the site of this year’s Shark Week. There is a camp ground and motor lodge adjacent to the Inn. We have reservations at the motor lodge starting Monday. There were no rooms available so we setup camp in the campground.

We checked in with Shark Week registration then spent the afternoon sitting in the shade (temps in the high 90s) and chatting with friends and newcomers as they arrived.
