Live Oak to Jackson
We had an easy start to our day. We left the hotel about 7:30 a.m. and headed west on I-10. Traffic was moving quickly and we made good time. We got off the interstate at Crestview, FL, and took a bunch of back roads to the north and west. FL-4 and AL-41 were particularly nice, if you are looking for good roads to ride.
We stopped west of Tallahassee for a morning coffee break.
We found a park for a picnic lunch in East Brewton, AL. The Piggly Wiggly was across the street. The store had an unusual layout. The building was L-shaped, so two sets of aisles were at right angles to each other.
We stopped for our afternoon coffee in Coffeeville, AL.
This plaque beside the gas station caught my attention. Apparently there was a beautification project on the site some time ago.
This is what’s left of the beautiful spot.
It looks like it’s going to rain most of tomorrow as we continue on to Eureka Springs.
Ride safe!
