I spent almost all of today on I-40 East. There was a big storm ahead of me, but I never caught up with it. The morning clouds, however, kept things cool. The afternoon turned out to be hot and humid. I was on the road 13 hours and covered 810 miles.

I didn’t stop to take pictures, but I did snap this factory building next to my lunch stop. I was curious about what they preserve, so I looked it up. Take a look. Bryant Preserving Company.

After checking into my hotel, I went downtown and had dinner at BJ’s on the Square in Holly Springs, MS.

I should be home tomorrow evening.
