Time Out Trailer
I am in the process of repairing the broken Amazon links on this page. In the meantime, purchases you make after clicking the button below will earn EZMotoTim a commission.
On this page you’ll find links to products we bought for our trailer and for camping.
Solar Panel and Portable Power
We bought a 100 watt solar panel. Larger sizes are available.
These brackets make it easy to mount the panel to the top of the Time Out.
The portable power station we purchased is no longer available. These two models are leading brands.
An adapter cable is needed to connect the portable power station to the solar panel.
Use xtreme tape to wrap the adapter cable.
To be able to remove the solar panel at your campsite, use these knobs and rivet nuts to attach the solar panel to the mounting brackets.
Enhancements
In the “Enhancements” video I added more straps for stowing the tent and showed how to keep them from getting buried under the tent.
The spring clips that secure the latches are sure to get lost. In my “Enhancements” video I showed how to replace the spring clips with carabiners and secure them to the trailer.
Add-Ons
You need to seal all the stitched seams. We bought 3 or 4 tubes of this sealer.
We thought there was no way we were going to inflate an air mattress every night, so we bought these self-inflating foam mattresses. They are very comfortable.
However, the foam mattresses were very bulky and difficult to pack, we did buy a queen-size air mattress and a 12V electric air pump we could power with the portable power station.
For general overhead illumination this LED light is just right and very small.
We have a spare tire, but we needed tools to change the tire. A deep socket is needed to remove the spare tire from it’s mounting bracket. I use a 1/2″ drive deep socket and breaker bar for the lug nuts..
Camping Gear
Be sure to check out our Camping Gear page for the items we purchased to augment what we had already.

We have the TIMEOUT standard trailer and love it and with your tips Tim we are loving our TIMEOUT even more.
It’s great to hear the tips are working for you. I’m planning to add the removable bars that make opening and closing the trailer easier. Thanks for watching.
I installed 2 Cane bolts to my time out to open and close with little stress to the legs and back.
Yes, That’s on my to-do list. Right now I’m dealing with tires that wear unevenly and are not useable by 4000 miles.
