Installing Auxiliary Turn Signals On My Road Glide Special
This video shows how I installed auxiliary turn signals to my 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special.
Amber Turn Signals for Safety
The Road Glide Special does not have a tour pack or the “Pig Nose” tail light, so visibility of the rear lights is limited. My friend, Rick, added additional red tail/brake/turn lights in the space between the fender and the saddlebag. While they are bright, they are shielded to the sides of the bike. Also, the turn signal lights are red, not amber. I think red lights on a red bike are harder to see during the day. These amber turn signals should provide a contrast to the red bike and be more visible in daylight.
