Flag Stops
It was very chilly last night, but not the coldest of this trip. I packed up quickly, got gas, and enjoyed a warm breakfast at Tim Norton’s – probably the last visit there for some time.
It was another riding-perfect day. It was sunny, with a few little puffy clouds and 75 degrees for a high.
Eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba are a little flatter and greener than what I rode through yesterday. Manitoba’s crops include hay, canola, corn, and soy beans. They also raise cattle so they have something to eat all the hay they grow.
The Shark flag made a couple of picture stops today. The first was at International Peace Garden on the Manitoba/North Dakota border. I drove around the park and took a few pictures. I asked a family to help me take a picture of the flag. The mom assigned the dad to the camera and the daughter to helping hold the flag.
I rode on to Rugby, ND at took a picture of the flag at the Geographic Center of North America monument.
Tomorrow I’ll continue riding toward home.
Boy, you have had a great trip.
