I am understanding that the maps provided with my Garmin Montana 700i an not be downloaded to my computer for use with BaseCamp. Is that true. If not how and where does one store the maps on their computer for BaseCamp use?

Why is everytime I launch Basecamp I get the dialog box that says “the following maps are locked and require unlocking before they can be fully used in Basecamp”? I don’t recall getting any unlock codes and they are apparently unlocked in the device. (Zumo XT)
Interesting. I haven’t encountered that error message. Try installing the maps to BaseCamp using Garmin Express. If that doesn’t work, then call Garmin support.
