Making Up a Little Time
Today we took a stab at making up a little of the time we lost while Beth’s bike was being repaired. We covered the 520 miles from Webster, MN, to Glen Ullin, ND, in just 11 hours. We traveled about 60 miles farther than our original plan.
Our host’s cat likes to drink water from a spigot in the kitchen. This morning I was able to catch her in the act.
We had morning and afternoon coffee at gas stations and lunch at a rest stop on I-94.
Tonight we are staying at a Bed & Breakfast in Glen Ullin, ND. Glen Ullin is about 50 miles west of Bismarck and 5 miles south of I-94. There must be a feed lot nearby because we can hear the cattle. We have a small, comfortable room. There are spacious common areas.
Beth’s bike is working well, and the oil level is holding steady. Our goal tomorrow is Great Falls, MT.
Glad all is going well and Beth’s bike is breaking in without any problems. Safe travels.
Cheryl’s sister and brother in law live in Belt, MT. Right down the road from Great Falls.
That’s Great Burton if we come to a stopping point or some barrier, will let you know and perhaps he can give us some resources.
