A Little Touring
My brother and sister-in-law stopped on their way to Florida and had lunch with us. Their visit was a welcome break in our routine. After lunch Beth and I visited the Jefferson County Historical Village. The village is a collection of old buildings from around the county.
We stood in line to get into the museum. We thought it was odd that there were so many people, visiting today, but it is a holiday weekend, so maybe a lot of folks thought it was a good time to see the park. Well, once we got inside we realized it was a special party – a 100th birthday party for Everett! We quickly turned around and continued our tour.

Tomorrow we’ll do a loop ride to the Mississippi River.
Cool
I am enjoying your blog. Stay safe.
Very cool pictures. I especially liked the attendance sign form the church. My maternal grandfather was a pastor for 47 years. When we visited (Corning, Arkansas) my 3 siblings and I got to take turns posting the numbers on the sign before the evening service.
That’s a great story and a great connection.
