We Did Almost Nothing
We planned to go to the sculpture garden today, but it is closed. We’ll try again tomorrow. I spent most of the day working on the website.
Beth did walk over to WalMart to get some wine. Voila! Happy hour!
We also took pictures around the hotel for your viewing pleasure.
Our room door…
The mural of the city, ca. 1881, is opposite the elevator and is very interesting. (p.s., there is one on each floor.)
The lobby is huge.
Then there’s the gym… We’ve been lazy and only worked out once.
…and the pool…
…and our favorite haunt, the hot tub. We put on our suits each evening around 8 or 9 and take a dip.
Finally, there’s the restaurant.
I worked all day on revising the way emails are sent after I create a post. I use the free version of the email-sending module. They moved the automatic sending feature to the paid version, so I have to send the emails manually. I found I can send only 20 emails at a time, or they get bounced, so I send about 20, play some solitaire, send 20 more, etc. Even with this method, some emails are returned and I have to send them manually.
I decided to get a free MailChimp account for sending the notification emails. I won’t have to send out the emails in dribs and drabs and I’m hoping there will be fewer rejects. You may have to allow the picture in the email to be downloaded and you might have to tell your email program that the email is not spam. Please leave a comment if there are issues with the emails.
As always, we appreciate the comments you left us.
My email came through. So thumbs up for that.
I hope good news is coming today!!! Double thumbs up for that. 🙂
Well, it looks like you’ve turned your “wait” into some very interesting days!! Sometimes you have to go with the flow!!
I know you’d rather be on the road, so all your fans are praying for that “best case scenario”!! Continue to have fun and I always enjoy catching up by reading your updates. Thanks for sharing!! All the Best… Lloyd
