We rode from Pueblo to Loveland up I-25. Temperatures were in the upper 90s.

Our coffee break was at a McDonald’s

Lunch was in a community park.

We took a short detour to check in at Mile-High Harley at Parker, CO. We encountered heavy traffic from Parker to Loveland. We bought some groceries and checked into our hotel. We managed to take showers, cook dinner, and collapse in front of the TV. BTW, we carry a Fire TV Stick so we can watch Netflix, YouTube, Brit Box, etc.

Saturday

We rode back to Mile-High Harley in Parker for their dealer event. They served hot dogs and hamburgers and offered some merchandise discounts.

On the way back to the hotel, we checked in at two other Harley dealerships.

Sunday

Today we rode through Rocky Mountain National Park. The park has a timed entry requirement where you register online and receive an entry time, which is a 2-hour window during which you can enter the park. This system limits the number of vehicles that are in the park and reduces traffic jams. If you arrive before 9 a.m., however, you don’t need a timed entry pass. We left our hotel at 6:30 a.m. and arrived at the gate at 8:00 a.m.

Can you spot the pika?

When we left the hotel in the morning it was 68 degrees. Up at 12,000 ft it was 53 degrees. When we got down to 7,000 ft, it was 103 degrees. Such a day of contrasts.

Monday

We were just hangin’ out and greeting friends as they arrived. Also, I worked on the videos from RMNP. It’s going to take quite a bit of time to create a ride-along video. It did rain in the middle of the day.
