Riding Along in the Heat
It was relatively cool when we started out. US-412 took us through the Ozarks of northern Arkansas. We encountered one mishap, which you’ll see in the video.
Morning break was at a McDonald’s. We had no trouble ordering our coffee.
We happened on a park at lunch time. Pipe Spring Park is “an upgraded outdoor community space created through a partnership between the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) and the Cherokee Nation.” (Google AI)

The chickens wanted some of what we were having for lunch, and a moth thought my jacket was tasty.

Our afternoon break was at a gas station that had some lunch tables. Coffee and ice cream hit the spot.

The Walmart closest to our hotel was 17 miles away, so we tried a DG Market. Beth found some frozen dinners (Healthy Choice) that were really good.
We needed to get out of the heat. My bike said it was 105 degrees; Weather Bug said it was only 100 degrees.

Here’s the Ride Along video.
Ride safe, keep cool.
See you soon.
Will do.
Thank you for the ride along. That was fun.
Wow you guys are special! Your videos are too. Thank you…
Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
These videos are fun to watch. Question, is Beth really as far ahead of you as it appears?
The lens is very wide angle, so she’s not so far ahead as it looks. We don’t follow too closely, however.
